Chia Seed Smoothie Bowl

If you have never tried to create a breakfast bowl, just go for it. It is totally worth it, trust me! Even if it’s not for the pretty instagram pictures (guilty!) they taste wonderful and there are so many different flavours to make and ways to decorate it, it makes breakfast time a lot of fun! This recipe takes about 2 minutes to make and you can make it the night before, store in the fridge in air-tight container, wake up and enjoy!img_2741

Ingredients – serves one

For the pudding:

  • ¼ cup chia seeds
  • 1½ cups almond milk (can use another type of milk if you wish
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla

For the toppings (can be anything you wish but in this one I have used):

  • Mango, cubed
  • Banana, sliced
  • Kiwi, sliced

Method – takes 2-5 mins

  1. Mix all ingredients for the pudding in a blender.
  2. Serve with toppings of your choice and enjoy!img_2739
