Antioxidant Smoothie Bowl

As a big fan of the smoothie bowls, I am always looking for different recipes to try in my blender. This antioxidant recipe ticked all the boxes and it was absolutely delicious. Try it and see for yourself!

Ingredients – serves 1

  • 1½ banana
  • ½ cup frozen berries
  • ½ cup almond milk
  • fresh raspberries
  • fresh blackberries
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tbsp coconut flakes
  • ¼ cup pomegranate seedsimg_2129

Method – takes about 5 mins

  1. Add the whole banana, frozen berries and almond milk to a blender. Blend until smooth and pour into a bowl.
  2. Top smoothie with other ½ banana, sliced, raspberries, blackberries, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, coconut flakes and pomegranate seeds.img_2128
